CHICAGO - State Senator Bill Cunningham and State Representative Mary Gill are hosting a Mobile DMV event Friday, Feb. 21 at Crosswinds Church in Chicago.

“This is a convenient way for members of the community utilize DMV services at a facility near them,” said Cunningham, a Democrat who represents portions of Chicago and the Southwest Suburbs. “I encourage folks who haven’t had the chance to visit their local facility to take advantage of this service.”

The event will be held Friday, Feb. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Crosswinds Church, located at 10835 S. Pulaski Rd. in Chicago. Representatives of the Secretary of State's office will be on hand to assist with renewing or correcting driver's licenses and state IDs, converting existing standard driver’s licenses into REAL ID driver’s licenses, obtaining renewed or first-time REAL state IDs and purchasing license plate stickers. Additionally, seniors age 65 or older can obtain a free state ID.

Appointments for one of 50 available slots are required. Contact Cunningham’s office at (773) 445-8128 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
